At Showboat Stables, you and your horse enjoy an exclusive boutique experience rooted in elite pedigree and proven results. Our tranquil Naples facility combines top-tier care, expert training, and a personalized approach that helps every rider and horse communicate seamlessly, perform confidently, and truly thrive in and out of the arena.
Our Heritage
Founder Loraine Roe is the driving force behind Showboat Stables. Her journey began in the 1970s, when she discovered a deep love for training off-the-track Thoroughbreds for the Jumper arena. In 1979, she launched the Ontrack Thoroughbred Training Center in Gardiner, NY, earning her NYRA license. This expansive 80-acre facility became a hub for breeding, raising, breaking and racing elite horses. Throughout these years, Loraine remained dedicated to the show circuit, raising her daughter to compete successfully from ponies all the way up to the professional jumper levels. Loraine retired to Naples, FL in 2005 for the winters. By 2008 Ontrack Thoroughbred Training Center transferred south and became Showboat Stables.
